Simpson County Clerk, Jolene Thurman
The Simpson County Clerk’s Office will be closed Thursday July 2nd for thorough cleaning and sanitizing, and Friday July 3rd for the Independence Day holiday, before we reopen to the public Monday, July 6th. Following CDC guidelines, we will be required to reopen at 50% capacity. This requirement will stay in place for the foreseeable future until restrictions are lifted. We will be also closed from 12:00—1:00PM each day for lunch. This means that no more than 3 people will be allowed in the lobby at any given time. We would encourage our residents to continue to utilize our drop box, mail in service, phone service, and online renewal service as much as possible. We will continue to work diligently to serve each of our residents as quickly and efficiently as possible and we appreciate the patience of our residents as we work to keep everyone that comes to our office as safe as possible.
